= Pannaria microphyllizans (Nyl.) P.M.Jørg. of Galloway (2007) as used by New Zealand authors (we are probably well out of date as P. minutiphylla was established in 2013 and Galloway 2007 hinted there was a problem with the New Zealand application of the name).

Images of herbarium specimen collected 30 November 2019. Both wet and dry examples of the same specimen.

Common. Corticolous on rawiritoa (Kunzea amathicola).

Photobiont green. Medulla green. Thallus compact, more or less tightly appressed to substratum. Lobes with more or less laciniate margins, bearing copious laminal and marginal phyllida. Apothecia not seen.

Noted for Farewell Spit - Wharariki Bioblitz 2019.
