Didn't realise until processing the photo's it looks infested with brown mites; might be eggs?

We've now found 4 specimens, 3 species, that all have the same form & wing venation; but quite different colours. Will post more, the orange ones, later when I have more time.

Notice how the antennae tips do a 180.

This American bumblebee was pollinating many different types of plants in the surround area, the number bee was moving from plant to plant and spent approximately 3 seconds on each flowering part of the plant

Coelioxys ( Torridapis) albiceps
Identified as Coelioxys weinlandi on Bowerbird by Bernhard Jacobi: "I have compared both descriptions by Schulz (1904) and Friese (1909) and am convinced both refer to the same species. So Coelioxys (Torridapis) weinlandi Schulz, 1904 would be the valid name and C. (T.) albiceps Friese, 1909 a junior synonym. The male specimen on PaDIL looks good, but the female seems to be of another species (with hairy eyes => subgenus Coelioxys).
The suspected host of this species is Ctenoplectra australica."

This species is re-discovered after 136 years of presumed extinction, after a single (holotype) specimen was collected in 1885 (Natura Croatia, 2022;31(2):217-224, https://hrcak.srce.hr/en/clanak/417209 and Linzer biol. Beitr 2022:54(1):251-256; https://www.zobodat.at/pdf/LBB_0054_1_0251-0256.pdf). The main feature of the species is the black marking on the male clypeus. Females were firstly observed and described from this location. Currently considered endemic to Croatian coast, including the Mosor, Kozjak and Dinara Mountains.
