Cycling from Seeheim since early morning. The gravel road is looong and sandy, and I just try to keep a straight line in the middle of the path, while I fumble with the gps and listen to music through my earphones.
All of the sudden, a shadow rises to my left, and I jump from the bike to the right side, as my brain registers the unmistakable shape of a cobra!
I try to take a few shaky photos with my crappy camera, before the beautiful snake hides in some thorny bush, probably as startled as I was.
