Eastern Tropical Pacific killer whales hunting bottlenose

My photos were taken off the coast of San Diego as this pod traveled roughly between Torrey Pines southward toward Mission Bay while we were observing them.

I sent this photo to a Forest Service friend who along with state and federal biologists were able to trap and collar her. She is the first female grizzly to be collared in Washington State. I have (trail camera) photos from the following year of her two cubs in my other observations.

A very large (for the species) P. trigonatus (Dwarf caiman) predating of a very large (for the species) C. caninus (Emerald tree boa) in the middle of the day. This is definitely one of my most exciting observations ever.

Caught a magpie and fox playing a bit and chasing each other around (mostly on behalf of the magpie). The bird isn't actually sitting on the fox, as cool as that would have been, it is just standing in behind. (You can see this in the third image link below!)

Wish I had taken a video but my camera quality was not good for it at the time. I did however capture some burst shot gifs of the interaction, which you can view here :-)

Voracious spider captured hummingbird in web at sugar feeder. I did not think about location of web, other than it was uncomfortable to avoid when going through garden gate, when I rehung the feeder. A few hours later, she had trapped and beheaded and wrapped the hummingbird.

Cheetah has had enough of the vultures hanging around the kill and she rushes it. This one was accompanied by what appeared to me to be two nearly grown cubs. Added photo that shows all three animals under tree.

4 Wild dog (one alpha male, 3 yearling cubs 2 x f, 1 x m) chased a female bush buck in to a shallow pool on the Chongwe River. A small crocodile swam up and took a bite and did a death roll. The bushbuck then dragged the croc out towards the Wild Dog who then dragged it up the bank with the croc still attached. It took them a while to kill the bushbuck but by then the croc gave up

Sea lion deep in the Delta - was massacring the largemouth bass population. It caught and devoured nine big bass in about an hour...clearly they didn’t evolve with a predator like a sea lion around and seemed like they had absolutely no capacity to escape!!

Trifecta!! Competing in tug-o-war with a common garter snake for adult female cascades frog prey. Amazing rare observation!

I was photographing a Robber Fly with it's prey item (a Robber Fly, which had captured a small native bee, both shown in last photo). I didn't even know the Anole was nearby until it suddenly pounced on the Robber Fly. The Anole ended up gulping down both the Robber Fly and the Bee.

While the quality of the photo isn't great, I clearly observed (with binoculars) the shape of the python's head, its slender body, and its colour (pale grey with darker, sparse, markings) which all suggested the ID of Oenpelli python.
Observed in a patch of monsoon forest beside a sandstone scarp.

A “gallina de palo” as they are called in Puerto Rico, apparently got hit by a car. In her last burst of life, she left her eggs behind on the grass. I’ve never seen anything like this as all her eggs seemed to be in one long membrane tube. Puerto Rico’s Iguanas flourish in March and April as the heat begins to increase.
