I stopped to check a pond for Odonates and heard these two eagles flying above. The older one was doing alot of vocalizing. The 4th year juvenile still has some mottled dark spots on head and tail.

This raccoon had a very light coat of fur and was found dead on the highway. The pelage looks leucistic but with the tinges of orange coloration it may be erythristic (red phase) which is even rarer than melanism (dark phase) in raccoons.
