This plant has larger leaves growing on the bottom, and smaller ones towards the top of the plant. The leaves do not grow along the entire length of the stem. They end towards the top and are replaced by clusters of small yellow flowers. The leaves themselves are a pale green and fuzzy. They have jagged edges which are more pronounced on the larger leaves. This plant grows on the dry prairie, and is native to this area.
