I think these are deer mushrooms but may not have considered all the alternatives. (edit: they were very much not deer mushrooms)
There was no strong/notable smell to them.
Substrate is long fallen wood, could be a number of things from buckthorn that was cleared out to river birch (maybe). There are a number of other tree species in the area, too.
Lichen, assumed all one type, on a rock after a rain
Not too sure about lichen identification, but this genus is my best guess so far.
