Nomada australensis roosting on leptospermum twig, early evening.
There were 5-10 of these hanging around this little area
I think this is the Thyreus lugubris. Confirmation or alternative advice appreciated!

Black Resin Bees Megachile lucidiventris fighting over nest sites
The was resting on a leaf and gave me 3 shots. Two were total duds and it had moved to a bad angle for this. I assume another Resin bee?

Bees grouped on a mangrove fern. They were smaller than honey bees and don't quite look like the recently introduced Asian honey bee.
