Hot spot for many tui. Singing, feeding, chasing each other through the bush.
first one for many days, flying. The odd nibble on my swan plants but no caterpillar or eggs seen. I've seen only 21 small paper wasps nest P. chinensis and no adult mantises. I reckon there are fewer white butterflies so far this season too.
tagged C. chlorostyla 'red stem'. Only 2 plants amongst many of the typical C. chlorostyla, also flowering.
