I could only hear it faintly in the distance. All I could pick up was two distinct notes repeated.
Specifically looking for the source of the very short, percussive chirping. I didn't manage to get a picture, but I saw glimpses of the bird, and it was small and brownish red. My gut tells me American Robin, maybe a sparrow or female Northern Cardinal.
