Fronds erect to suberect, coriaceous, stipe proximally paleate, lamina narrowly oblong, to 1.4 m, pinnate, sterile pinnae subsessile, entire, fertile pinnae subsessile to shortly petiolate. Sori extending most of the length of fertile pinnae, indusium lacerate. Grows in exposed damp places. This was on the edge of the Afr-temperate forest patch at Tonnelbos

A huge stand. When I started giving aliens courses about 4 years ago, there was one plant which I collected in October, and each year subsequently. It now covers a large area, including part of one fence, with a few outliers. At this rate within 10 years it will cover all of Die Hel.
