Growing on a fallen Picea engelmannii twig. Hymenium orange when fresh. All structures inamyloid. Filiform, hyaline, crystal encrusted hairs at edges. Ectal excipulum of textura porrecta. Paraphyses smooth, hyaline and filiform. Asci unitunicate, inoperculate, 8-spored and with croziers. Spores smooth, hyaline and 0-septate. Spore measurements: (4) 4.3 – 5.1 (6) × (3.8) 4 – 4.9 (5.1) µm, Q = 1 – 1.1 (1.2); N = 30, Me = 4.7 × 4.5 µm; Qe = 1.1
