Startled this handsome individual off the dirt trail of Spring Hollow Rd right next to the open meadow. They had been sunning themselves and slithered into the trees and bushes on the side of the trail. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get any closer to get a better picture. The individual was about the length of my hand + forearm (little under a foot and half) and had no distinctive markings. Dorsal side was a warmer pinkish brown, ventral side was a bit lighter. Tongue appeared black. Conditions were about mid 70s temp wise and sunny.
