Seemingly a gynandromorph, showing both male and male coloration. Not a transitional stage; was photographed the first time on 10 November 2023, and since then the colours have stayed exactly the same. It takes its place among other adult males of the same species at the edge of the water. When it takes to the air, it is chased by other males, but soon returns to the breeding area. Close-ups of the claspers show 3 appendages and some deformity.
I got very tired and was not able to photograph the red-colored male..but I easily managed to photograph the female.
