Neighboring property wet area. Dense tall growth up to 3 feet and more. Like crus corvi except shorter beaked and overall less compound.
Corky based 5 mm perigynia, heavy veined.
A little out of habitat (Upland [possibly in a wet depression?]). Disturbed ground by road in pine woodland. Fits C. granularis in every way I can see, though.
Another distinctive Carex growing on my property that I keyed last year and again today. Critter bonus. Will add wider shots of plant later today.
Wet rocky area with a group growth in one spot.
