On mostly shaded and moist areas of the trunk of a large poplar (P. deltoides?) trees planted all over Corner Brook. Found on West St. and a few meters away from the Paper Mill. This is a species that is supposed to be a mature forest indicator and its occurrence in the downtown area of Corner Brook makes me question that claim. Radula complanata was also found in the same type of environment as Neckera.
