Today i decided to walk around the Pine Tree Reserve and around the wooded area next to the Res since I was on a tight schedule. The weather was very nice, it was sunny with clear skies yet it was a little chilly today. But I did enjoy the fresh air and the break from being in classes all day. As I walked around the first thing I noticed was a lot of ferns near by. Which falls into the seedless vascular polypodiopsida classification of plants. In which they disperse their gametes via water which is pretty clear considering how I found them in a large bunch. As I kept walking I also say plenty of angiosperms or flowering plants everywhere and I decided to take a picture of two of them. Which are identified as the toadflax and the asters and allies. Since I was in and near the Pine Tree Reserve there were a lots of pines present to take pictures of. Pine trees are considered a form of an evergreen tree meaning they are under the distinction of Gymnosperms or non-flowering seed plants. I did though have a hard time finding a bryophyta but I eventually found moss on a rock in the woods near the Res. Mosses are nonvascular plants and I don't see them regularly so it was nice to find some.
