I'm excited about City Nature Challenge this year for a number of reasons.

1. It's one of my favorite things to do in honor of Earth Month, and since the event is at the end of the month, I feel like I can really relax at the event.
2. We're hosting another great outing at Almaden Quicksilver, Mockingbird Hill entrance. RSVP at https://240428-bioblitz.eventbrite.com
3. For the second year, Merav Vonshak (@merav) and I are hosting a South Bay CNC ID Party potluck on Tue 4/30 from 6-9PM at Willow Glen Community Room in San Jose. RSVP at https://240430-cnc-id.eventbrite.com. Last year was so fun we decided to do it again.
4. I just listened to Michael Hawk's (@naturesarchive) podcast via Jumpstart Nature about iNaturalist and CNC featuring my friend Jennifer Rycenga (@gyrrlfalcon) talk about her exploits with iNat.
5. Merav Vonshak (@merav) and I hosted a webinar about how to host a BioBlitz and about the CNC last week. I've already been able to use the video as a reference for someone interested in hosting their own event. Watch on our YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/DYIyLdOmsSM
