I spotted a zippy little male in a sunny spot in my yard. I also spotted three Anthophora-sized nest holes right where I had an aggregation last year. The temp was 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
They're back! Same location as last year's Anthophora.

That is wonderful! It is fun when you can expect (down to the month and sometimes week) when a certain bee will emerge. Have you had any other bees out and about?
Yesterday I saw my first bee of the year too! It was not as exciting as an Anthophora (a Lasioglossum), but it was still my first. :) Here, in Estacada, OR, I had clear skies and a temperature of a little over 60 °F. I just hope the sweat bees will be able to survive the cold when the warmth stops/drops in temp.
I hope so too! I'm worried the Anthophora are coming out too early. I saw a bunch more holes today, so it's not just the odd one here or there.
