Natural Area Observation Post
Today I went to hiking spots to identify trees that were not planted in front yards or gardens. The trees I have listed are all beautiful and they were all seen in Eaton Park. Taking pictures of these trees was a good way to get out of the house and explore the nature around my neighborhood.

Tree is growing at Eaton Park on the side of the hiking trail. I don’t see any insects on the tree. The tree looks to be around 30 feet tall.

Tree is growing off a hiking trail at Eaton park. There are no insects on the tree, but some of the leaves have holes in them from possibly grasshoppers or snails. Tree seems to be over 30 feet tall. Beautiful tree

Tree is growing at a different trailhead at Eaton park, the tree doesn’t have any insects around it, and the leaves seem to be slightly spikey. Tree seems to be over 30 feet tall

Tree is also located off a trailhead at Eaton Park. There are no insects on the plant, and the leaves have serrate leaf margins. Plant seems to be around 15 feet tall.
