UML potential new club - anyone interested who studies at UML can join

INaturalist has been a journey that has always been an eyeopener. Learning what is invasive, introduced, endangered, and native and the connections of everything around us as an ecosystem and the fragile nature of things. At the University of Massachusetts Lowell, we believe in conservation, education, and preservation. Together we should try to catalog the life around the campus and the incredible diversity behind it. We should try to showcase the ecosystem around the city and the campus and demonstrate that nature is everywhere and should be protected. Learning about the invasive organisms around us helped to map their location and potentially find tiny organisms never recorded on this site. Together this could be educating and eye-opening, and I hope everyone finds it so. This is an idea in progress; hopefully, soon, it can be a recognized club Please check out "University of Massachusetts Lowell INAT study"

Anyone know a great place to go where there are abundant species of salamanders near Middlesex county?

Mollusks New Project

~
Mollusks are one of the most diverse groups of animals on the planet. So I thought it would be great to have a page cataloging all the known mollusks species in our state of Massachusetts. Every class is admired and will be part of this catalog: the Aplacophora, Bivalvia, Cephalopoda, Gastropoda, Monoplacophora, Polyplacophora, and Scaphopoda. Hopefully, through this journey, new species will be discovered and even described and conserving any endangered species and learning more about their lifecycle, habitat, abundance, diseases, morphologies, and distribution. With this project, we may even be able to identify species never seen before on this platform. So may your mollusk expedition be splendorous and fruitful from the microscopic to the shelled sluggers, then to the tentacled ocean dwellers and the aqua filter feeders.
The project is called Mollusks of Massachusetts, and I am accepting co-admins as well; just let me know why you are interested through my inbox, and I shall consider.

Winter is coming

In Massachusetts what am I even going to look for in the winter! I literally have no clue and I don't intend to go cave diving either.
