I think this is Didymium squamulosum on the edge of a decaying leaf, but I had never seen the immature fruiting bodies as shown in the first photo, taken at about noon. I took the leaf home to observe it and photograph the fruiting bodies as they changed. The rest of the photos are high magnification of the fruiting bodies taken the next day.
The second-fourth photos were taken at about 2pm the next day, and the last photo was taken at about 5pm.

I think this is Comatricha, which is common in my area, but I have never seen it with the columella rising outside the apex of the sporangia. @sarahlloyd is this common?

These myxos were growing on a small twig in my garden that I had taken from the woods last winter. After the first good rains of this rainy season, these fruiting bodies appeared. I think that they are Arcyria sp, but I have not seen some like these before. The first photo was taken the morning after several days of heavy rains.
The second photo is two days after the first, and the third photo is a crop of the second to show the unusual stipes. It seems to me that perhaps these are Arcyria that have been deformed by the rains?
@SarahLloyd could you take a look and please give me your opinion.
