Stillwater Brook, Rockland Co., NY
Along Palisades Interstate Parkway near exit 16, southern end of large grassy area. Found with Brown Trout. Eastern Brook Trout found at nearby locations just upstream.
Conversations with NYSDEC indicted no stocking of Tiger Trout in this area. This is not an area that would be stocked as there is almost no public access.

Likely Least, Hammonds, or Western Flycatcher. All three have been recorded from NY during this time frame. The yellow lower mandible color, and shortness of the primary extension (although difficult to judge in the photos) appears to rule out Hammonds; the tear-drop shape of the eye-ring and the well defined crest seems to rule out Least. No vocalizations were heard.
