More of these please! They are like jewels with wings! Roughly 3cm long.

I would love to know what these are.

Night Tiger or Brown Tree Snake. Fell from above me while trying to shed its skin

Much darker than the other carpet pythons in the garden. Lives between rocks, under a big birdsnest fern. Very placid.

It would be simple to say this is a green tree frog, but I can never tell until they are fully grown. This one is tiny, about 1.5cm. There is no accessible water close by for breeding.

It was hard to get closer without scaring it away. I have included an older photo when one was outside my front door. Not sure if it is the same one.

In a neighbours guava tree. At least 2m long

Very small butterfly. About 1.5-2cm.

Sadly this one seems to have been attacked.

So hard to photograph, colours keep shifting from gold to green to deep purple. I’m wondering what type of wood they bore?

About 8cm wide at wingtips.

At a shopping centre, standing outside the pharmacy’s automatic doors, as if waiting for someone

This dropped from my ceiling one night, like a ninja, landing next to me with a heavy thud. About 14cm long. Not aggressive. I released it into the garden.

This frog changed colour as I watched it. It was pale yellow/beige when first uncovered, then slowly went the darker rust colour. Around 7cm long.

I have not been able to find information on these. I think they come from the giant red cedar tree next to the house. It was approximately 5cm long.
