This snake is around 1.5-2m long when stretched out. I think it lives in the roof. If I stand on the deck talking on my phone it drops a poo at my feet. This has happened three times now. I would categorise this snake's temperament as judgemental and aloof. (Not that temperament is a category on this site ... but I feel it should be.)

Found this micro bat clinging to my front door. Very hard to photograph the face without using a flash. Also I didn’t want to risk a bite. Got it to a wildlife carer who thought it was a Horseshoe bat. Apparently they are cave dwellers. Not sure why it was stuck to my door after dawn - must have been quite a party!

Much darker than the other carpet pythons in the garden. Lives between rocks, under a big birdsnest fern. Very placid.

It would be simple to say this is a green tree frog, but I can never tell until they are fully grown. This one is tiny, about 1.5cm. There is no accessible water close by for breeding.

It was hard to get closer without scaring it away. I have included an older photo when one was outside my front door. Not sure if it is the same one.

I can’t find the species. None of the suggestions match the underside. Any ideas? The area is far north coast NSW rainforest.

So hard to photograph, colours keep shifting from gold to green to deep purple. I’m wondering what type of wood they bore?

Is this a Weta? I thought they only occurred in NZ. It was on my doorstep this morning.
I have added a pic of her mandibles. They look like they’d give a decent bite.

This dropped from my ceiling one night, like a ninja, landing next to me with a heavy thud. About 14cm long. Not aggressive. I released it into the garden.

This was about 5cm long. Is it a caterpillar? The legs are so unusual. It was on a box outside so I don’t know it’s food source.

This frog changed colour as I watched it. It was pale yellow/beige when first uncovered, then slowly went the darker rust colour. Around 7cm long.

I have not been able to find information on these. I think they come from the giant red cedar tree next to the house. It was approximately 5cm long.
