Hard to say if Feral Pigeon is correct. Many photos show this species to be colored. Additionally, the birds in my shot seem to be a touch larger than this species of pigeon.

Quickly retreated until running into the wall. At that point, it didn't move a muscle. The lack of movement proved ultimately unappetizing to me, and it gets to live another day. Effective strat is effective.
