Date and location approximate but I'll get more accurate data from my collecting book. Prostrate herbaceous plant. Capsules with long hairs on margins, otherwise glabrous. Seeds 4-angled, wrinkled. Seeds 1 mm, capsules 1.5 mm. We seemed to key it to E. micromera, but the hairiness of capsules didn't fit. E. prostrata? South Warner Mountains.

Algae? In the Owyhee River. Organisms anchored on streambanks at and just below the waterline, many individuals growing along river bottom in shallow water with their slender distal tips buried 1-2 cm in soil.
