I was unable to get close enough to confirm. The reason that I looked there is that the waterway is called Pawpaw Run. The road was for the most part 20 or more feet above the valley so I couldn’t really see or safely stop and look.

Oglebay has pawpaws all around and though this one lost its leaves I collected a few seeds below so it clearly bears fruit
