FOUND THIS MINK IN MY DRIVEWAY THIS MORNING. iT WOULD APPEAR TO ME , DUE TO THE NECK WOUND, THAT IT WAS KILLED BY ANOTHER MINK. I OCCASIONALY SEE A MINK TRAVELING ALONG THE TUSCARAWAS RIVER, WHICH RUNS THROUGH MY YARD. THEY TEND TO STICK THEIR HEADS INTO EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY THEY CAN FIND.. I HATE TO SEE ONE KILLED LIKE THIS.

I watched a Ruby Throated Hummingbird paying attention to a Magnolia tree in my yard and decided to hang a feeder in the tree. When I pulled a branch down to attach the feeder I found a hummingbird nest. This explains why the bird was so interested in that tree.
