Pretty sure a beaver broke out of the ice here and left a pile of plant material on the snow. However, there is also a patch of what looks like bloody urine on the snow, which I haven't seen at any other sites of beaver activity. Does anyone know if beavers leave blood on the snow like this, or was this more likely a coyote in estrus?

Trying to figure out what type of animal these bones are from. Found on the beach at Plum Island. The 4th photo is a separate smaller piece of bone that may or may not be from the same animal as the larger piece.
