Think this is a Flower Wasp ( as helped out on FBook by K.O. ). Thynnus zonatus suggested.
Make flew in - wandered around a bit, went under a piece of bark and came out with his lady. I have a good video of what looks like him feeding her for about 5 mins. whilst coupled in this clutch. Whist feeding, she seemed to be stroking her own body quite rapidly with mid/rear sets of legs.

Partner found this decent sized bush ( Westringia ?) on our bush block (in granite area) in the Illunie Range about 25 kms south of Cowra, NSW.
Have had this block since 2008 - first time we’ve noticed it.
Would love an ID if possible. Thanks. 🙏
