Wow! I planted a cluster of pale yellow pansies next to this plant that I have had for many years. About a week or few weeks later I noticed this amazing plant seemed to produce a similar colored flower with its leaves! It seems like a present for me!

They have a dark spot on their throat. They make a one note utterance - maybe to comment to the cat that was below. The tail feathers were reddish I think. Could they be woodpeckers?
