Wild peach being chewed up presumably by the Garden Acrea butterfly larvae / caterpillars.
Btw, on the accompanying map, Tierboskloof is incorrectly labled - it is on the otherside of Skoorsteenkop.

Why do the available habitat categories not include 'riverine' ... I have used aquatic as it is the closest.

Above Longkloof weir, on LHS
Very weedy plant, appears to spread easily,
According to website, it is a herbaceous perennial plant native to southern Africa ... not clear if it is locally indigenous to the Cape Peninsula or not. Its occurence could be an invasion as there are many invasive plants in this part of Hout Bay with many garden escapees invading the river corridor.

Very tall Halleria lucida due to having been surrounded by very tall invasive bamboo which have recently been removed - the trees are not in good condition some look dead ... hope that they will survive now that the invasives have been removed.
