Each of the squares on the hardware cloth is 1/2”. I had never seen a robber fly that big! I thought at first it was a deformed dragonfly or something.

I found this toad (?) in my aviary. If I didn’t know better I would suspect that she had deliberately chosen her coloration to resemble bird poop, as camouflage. She doesn’t really look like any I see on the California herp sites.
