These are two individuals. 10-11mm long body? About 12 of these out today, first time I've seen them. Bad at flying - most running, a few doing short hops. Best flier flew like a drunk helicoptor and crashed into the wall. They seem intent on climbing the white plaster wall, but do not avoid spider webs. Warm but overcast day.

I posted this thinking I dug it out of the garden but now I am having second thoughts and it might have grown in a pot of another plant. So not sure if it came in the soil or self grew from spores in the area.

Hard to sneak up on these two birds. Fairly large with long orange beak, black head and back with white singlet-like front.
