Found this tiny plant growing wild, between the cracks of concrete tile used for the walking path, and at the edge of compound wall and ground. This was during rainy season, and it is red soil.

I have seen this plant growing wild in large numbers on sloping dry soil of tank bunds on the tanks (lakes) along Kanakapura road.

there are many of them after last night's heavy rain. They are everywhere, sitting still on the fallen leaves and pods of acacia. Farther down the road, a few of them are flying around..
