A fungus growing on a rock! This fungus is a large spot on a rock on the side of the road. The fungus is about 10 inches long and 5 inches wide. It grows in a circular shape, apparently in different spots until it all connects. This makes it look like a single piece.
It is darker green closer to the center and had a thin bright green around it. The weather was cloudy and cold at this time.

Small flowers growing off of roots that are going on a tree. The flowers are small, most likely because they are just blooming. The red appears dull, mixing with the green color. Given the identification, it is important not to touch this plant in order to avoid potential rashes.
The weather was cloudy with no rain. Found on the outskirts of a small park.

It appears to be a wolf spider with a blue egg sac. It is a bit hard to notice, as this spider really wanted to stay hidden.
The overall size of this spider is smaller than a penny. It moves very quickly and was found near a small stream at a park. It was a bit hard to distinguish, given the blue egg sac.
The weather was changing all day today, and ended up having a slight rain fall when finding this organism.

Considerably tall single stemmed plant. Only a few bloomed flowers on each plant. It does not branch out or grow wide. It only appears to grow straight up. The weather is cloudy here and does not seem to have any potential pollinators near.
The stem is thick and the leaves do not look waxy. There is a large amount in any general area, suggesting a high reproductive rate. Found in a forest.
