Found on the sand - floated when I tried to put it in the water, so I assume it was dead. Didn't try to open it

Spider seems to be a mimic of a Leptomyrmex ant or maybe a wasp? Had a peculiar gait, was quite quick, held it's abdomen almost vertically, and would move the tips of its white legs a bit like the movement of wasp antennae. Would also sway abdomen from side to side slowly when not moving. Wish I could upload a video :(

Sorry for poor audio, hard to get it over the crickets and cicadas. Heard quite a few times in different spots around the lagoon. Three notes, first short, two more drawn out. Couldn't get a visual, but there's a lot of reeds and undergrowth at the edge of the lagoon.

Couldn't get close for a better shot as he would go back into his cave. So cute. If I sat still he'd come out and start eating a nearby bit of wood. I have some videos but I don't think you can upload them. Was at least 20cm long

1 unbanned individual, came around 6.10 and stayed in the grevillea until about 6.26, then flew into nearby jacaranda after a Little Wattlebird came into the Grevillea. Came back down to the Grevillea around 6.46- 6.53 and flew off again when another Little Wattlebird showed up. Saw it mimicking the Little Wattlebird.

Two plants with flowers of this colour next to one another. Nearby were standard purple-colored Dampiera purpurea, maybe just a colour variant?
