I think this could be a female, and most of our snipey examples seem to be males. Maybe a Chrysopilus sp.?

I think this could be Chlorocoma dichloraria, but I am concerned that it doesn't have the dots joining into zig zags. Almost all of the IDed photos I can find have this, although this one has the dot markings like mine: biocache.ala.org.au/occurrences/d8d7649d-0624-4189-9654-9...

This is a very large longicorn that really didn't fit with the lens I had on. It also didn't like the hard smooth surface and was pretty much unable to move until I sent it on its way back into the bushes.

These Lycid mimics are interesting, but very annoying to untangle. Very similar to the longicorn that I just posted too.

This wasp landed on one of my kids shoes in a big warehouse shop, It was nearly trodden on, and was already antenna-less. I knew it was new to me, so I had to be innovative and trap in my glasses case to get photos at home, before releasing it (although I suspect it simply enjoyed freedom again before it died).

Trapped in a bird bath and then lifted out on a stick to dry. Gives an interesting view of the wings though...
