My primary interests are arthropods, but I have an appreciation for all forms of life. Slugs, slime molds, salamanders -- they're all awesome.

I was a graduate student at San Diego State University, studying water mite systematics. I now archive human research data for NASA-- so not so much time left for naturalizing but I try to get outside. I have a soft spot in my heart for moths and their amazing diversity.
