I am a biologist for Audubon Delta's coastal bird stewardship program in Mississippi, USA. I have been an avid birder since 2003, and earned by PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Arkansas, conducting my dissertation research on the behavioral ecology of mixed-species flocks in eastern Ecuador. My identification expertise covers birds of North America, and to a good extent Central and South America. However, my first love as a young child was insects, and I have recently been rediscovering that love by seeking out and learning to identify lepidopterans and odonates.
