I am a retired physicist who also has been interested in living organisms since childhood. I am attempting to classify all the species I have photographed. I live in and explore the San Francisco Bay Area, but also belong to an archaeological society with which my wife and I have taken extended trips to neighboring states, to Great Britain and to South Africa.
