California boy, part-time wildlife scientist, camera trapper and amateur botanist that has the great pleasure to work on a variety of projects across CA on both public and private lands, and with an amazing set of scientists and nature geeks.

Current projects include a survey for the Santa Cruz kangaroo rat (Dipodomys venustus venustus), a badger and burrowing owl study (in a team) for the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, research and field verification with friends to create a list of Locally Rare plants of the Santa Cruz Mountains for the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of CNPS, and wildlife and botanical surveys on private ranches in the Tehachapi Mountains and Mono County.

Recently completed camera trapping projects include a 5 year pika study with USFS in Mono County, and multiple wildlife surveys for San Mateo County Parks.
