I'm originally a zoologist/forest ecologist, but I have been working with biodiversity informatics for more than 15 years. I miss going to the field and hence started a course to gain vocational certificate to become a wilderness guide (graduated 2019). I still try to learn new species groups and keep up with the ones I once learned (and perhaps also forgot).
