I have lived next to a precious little forest that sits within a large city, an absolute oasis amongst the concrete, for over 50 years. It truly means everything to me. I joined iNaturalist specifically so that I could start logging my observations of "my" forest and it's surrounding fields and marshes. One day I'll dig into my boxes of old photographs I've taken of the plants and animals I've encountered over the years, and post some of them as well.
