I am a college student currently working towards a career in forest ecology. I like to monitor the condition of second-growth forests in my area, with a focus on the monitoring the recovery of the eastern hemlock. I also search for possible overlooked old-growth areas and monitor the condition of known ones when possible.

I also like to check for invasive forest pests/diseases, primarily the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid and Beech Bark Disease.
