I have worked at various government jobs that are in outdoor settings. In one, Fish and Wildlife, I was able to visit some of the remotest areas in four counties, including Monterey County. and developed an especial interest in flora in these counties. Am a member of the Monterey Bay Chapter of the California Native Plant Society.
