I teach botany and evolution at University of Florida. I love all natural history, but desert plants are my specialty. I'm particularly interested in plants in the Four-O'Clock family (Nyctaginaceae). I run a field course every other spring called Desert Biodiversity, where I bring undergraduate students from Florida to the southwest for a couple weeks of serious natural history. You can check out some of our students' observations under the "UF Desert Biodiversity" iNaturalist project!
