When I was very young my father introduced me in the world of living creatures of the coastal dunes of Holland, where I still live. I studied Biology at the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam.

Nowadays amateur naturalist focussing on birds, Lepidoptera and all the other creatures of the universe :-)

Also an A-licensed bird bander (ringer).
