I'm a lifelong naturalist primarily interested in lepidoptera and botany at the moment. I am especially interested in taxonomy (the way species relate to each other) and the relationships between species in ecosystems, as well as ecosystem restoration and cutivating/ propagating native plants. Old-Growth Forest and Tallgrass Prairie/ Oak Savannah ecosystems have been a focus of mine lately.

I am based in Peterborough, Ontario and do most of my geeking here. I have worked as a seasonal naturalist at Algonquin Provincial Park for 3 seasons and as an intern at the Monteverde Butterfly Gardens in Costa Rica for two seasons.
