I am an intrepid citizen scientist. I matriculated at UC Davis where I graduated with a B. S. in Botany. I worked in the mycology lab of Dr. Kenneth Wells performing breeding studies of various fungi. Spent many years working in the Biotechnology field.
Studying mycoflora is a hobby. My continuing mission is to explore strange new habitats, to seek out new life and boldly go where no mycophile has gone before. So let the hunt begin. It’s man against mould. Like Paleolithic man, you are the hunter-gatherer, in the forest primeval, stalking an elusive, devious prey, you must think like a mushroom to defeat a mushroom ….wait, what? I’m getting carried away again.

For all of the Entomologists out there, please tell your pesky bugs to stop eating my mushrooms!
